A preliminary plat was approved by the council for Nelson Lake, a 108 single family lot subdivision that Rockwall developer Rob Whittle said would attract custom homebuilders to the city. The plan includes a 16-acre site designated for neighborhood service-type businesses. Average lot size is 19,509 square feet. The 121-acre site is located at the southeast corner of FM-1141 and FM-552.
