Join us downtown for the first annual Rockwall Rib Rub & Run on September 12, 2009.
A barbeque cook off highlights the event and is open to all persons, no matter whether amateur or professional. For contest registration information, click here…
A food and beer garden opens at 11AM - Zanata, Restaurant AVA and Bin 303 provide their spin on great barbecue fare.
Live music also begins at 11AM featuring Mr. X, the Paul Harrington Band, J.D. Cobb and Bad Behavior, the King Bucks and Fat Dixie.
A Poker Stroll is hosted by the Old Town Shoppes on the Square all day. Visit each shop to pick up your cards to make the best hand, best hand wins a great gift basket loaded with cool prizes!
If you’re feeling extra energetic, wake up early for the 5K Fun Run hosted by Rockwall Running Center. Run begins at 8AM, runners can get more information on the fun run and register at www.active.com.

Farmers Market – Downtown Rockwall – Episode #43
Richard Matteson gives us an overview about the Farmers Market at Downtown Rockwall. The Farmers Market is in its second year presently and has been a great success and is continuing to “grow”. It runs from May through September every Saturday from 8am - Noon. The Rockwall Farmers Market is a great source for locally grown produce, herbs, honey and flowers.
