The City Council approved annexation of Lake Rockwall Estates on a 6-1 vote last month. Lake Rockwall Estates is 334.8 acres at the southern end of the City. The area is bounded by FM 3097 on the south, County Line Road on the east and Tubbs Road on the west. There are about 2,800 residents in the area.
