An affiliate of The Woodmont Company has purchased some 50 acres for development of a 500,000-square-foot retail center.
The Plaza at Rockwall will be in the southwest quadrant of I-30 and SH 205, about 20 miles east of Dallas. JC Penney and Belk’s will anchor the development. Other retailers include Staples, Ulta and Best Buy. Opening is set for October 2007.
