The Matteson Group is Awarded for Top Team in Coldwell Banker Apex
More than 250 associates recently attended a companywide meeting hosted by Coldwell Banker Apex Realtors, according to Lori Arnold, president of the firm.
“With the market changing, it is vital that real estate firms equip their associates with the latest market information and ways to thrive in a changing real estate market,” she says.
The associates enjoyed breakfast and networking with their fellow associates. New associates who had joined the firm were recognized as well as associates who had earned the next levels of 2007 Premier Club status. Associates were informed of some new company initiatives that were kicked off at the meeting as well as a new designation class, Certified Negotiation Specialist, which is being offered in November 2007 through Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corp.
The meeting also featured a guest speaker from Florida. Bill Fields, a recognized national speaker and motivational trainer, presented the timely topic “How to Not Just Survive but Thrive in the Dallas-Fort Worth Market.” Mr. Fields presented timely market statistics about appreciation, days on market, median sales prices and ideas for the associates to use in the current real estate environment.

The leadership of this company really understands agents and how to provide them with a level of support that few brokers nationwide really do.”
Top Production awards were presented to the top individuals and top teams. Top individual awards winners were Tracie Peters, Deborah Lace, Paula Gatlin, Amy Smith, Adrian Zachary, Brandee Wilkins, Dennis Romano, Vicky Mendez, Jacqui Bloomquist, Steve Bloomquist, Kay Burchett, Hulen Greenhaw, Chris Parker, Chip Parmelly, Charlotte Shipley, Cheri Chavez and Jeanie Douthitt.
Top Team awards went to The Riddle Team, The Matteson Group, The Evans Team, The Cox Team, The Riley Team, The Cole Team, The Pickrell Team, The Dunnican Team, Mike Mazyck and The Kerby Team.

Coldwell Banker Rea Estate Corp. announced the top companies in the nation for midyear recently, according to Tom Lainson, account executive for Coldwell Banker.
“It is an incredible achievement to make it into the top levels of production within the Coldwell Banker system nationwide,” Mr. Lainson says. “We are very proud of Coldwell Banker Apex and this achievement.” Coldwell Banker Apex Realtors was recently recognized as the 11th-largest Coldwell Banker affiliate in the nation, based on closed business year to date. The company also had multiple offices recognized for individual top production.
“Our associates are some of the hardest-working Realtors you will find anywhere, and that is exactly what it takes to compete at this level,” Lori Arnold, president of Coldwell Banker Apex Realtors, says. “We are so proud of each one of them and the dedication they exhibit every day in serving our customers.”
Two offices were recognized in the Top 100 affiliate offices nationwide. The Rowlett office was recognized as 46th out of more than 2,700 offices, and the Rockwall office was recognized as No. 57.
“This ranking includes all size offices, and often our offices are competing with other offices that are triple their size,” Mrs. Arnold says. “The Rowlett and Rockwall offices do a fabulous job and have one of the highest per-person productivity rates you will see anywhere in the nation.”
The Rockwall office is managed by Julie Gezella and recently relocated to a new expanded space on Ridge Road. The Rowlett office is managed by Sarah Lee and has long been a top-producing office nationwide, including earning the No. 1 office (by size) internationally category, which includes all Coldwell Banker offices, several years ago. It also earned the recognition midyear as the No. 6 affiliate in its size category.
